Mary Rothschadl

1876 -  1952

 

Mrs. Mary K. Rothschadl, 76, widow of Jacob V. Rothschadl, died at St. Mary's Hospital June 7, 1952, following a long illness. Her home was in South Ninth Street.

 

Born in 1876 in Tabor, S. D., she was the former Mary K. Halla, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Halla. She was married in South Dakota in 1901 and for 27 years had lived in Watertown.

 

Mrs. Rothschadl was a member of St. Henry's and the Christian Mothers Confraternity.

 

The Rev. A. J. Herrmann officiated. Interment was in St. Henry's Cemetery.

 

Both the Christian Mothers Confraternity and the Ushers’ Society met at the funeral home for the rosary.
