Clarence Riedl

1918-1998

 

 

Clarence B. Riedl, 80, of 1305 Hutson Drive, died April 23, 1998, at Beverly Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center.

 

Funeral services were held at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and St. Henry’s Catholic Church, the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating.  Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

Clarence was born March 30, 1918 in Ixonia, son of Henry and Anna (Motl) Riedl. On June 8, 1940 he married the former Estella Weber at St. Henry Catholic Church. He had been a carpenter with the former Riedl Brothers Builders of Watertown.

 

Riedl was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, its former Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights Lodge No. 120, a volunteer and board member of St. Vincent De Paul Society, and a volunteer at Beverly Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was an avid fisherman.
