Joseph Nimm

1886 - 1951

 

Joseph W. Nimm, 64, route 6, died at St. Mary's Hospital on February 5, 1951, after an illness of about two weeks.

 

He was born on the homestead in route 6, where he lived all his life.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nimm and was born April 22, 1886. 

 

On Feb. 11, 1910, he married Miss Adelaide David.  She survives as do one daughter and six sons.

Also surviving were two sisters and a brother, Mrs. H. A. Duffy, Racine; Mrs. E. C. Wells, Lenoir City, Tenn.; and Nicholas Nimm, Watertown.

 

Mr. Nimm was a member of St. Henry's Church, the Holy Name Society and the Rosary Confraternity.

 

The funeral was in St. Henry's Church.  The Rev. Joseph Brechtl officiated and interment was in St. Henry's Cemetery.
