Christmas 1965

 

The annual Christmas visit of “little angels”

and the Christ Child to Watertown Memorial Hospital. 

 

The children distributed gifts to hospitalized youngsters, while other patients each received a greeting card.  They were accompanied on their visits to each patient by the members of the seventh and eighth grade girls choir of St. Henry’s School, who sang Christmas carols.  Director of the choir is Sister Mary Lynn.

 

Kenneth Reed, 2, portrayed the Christ Child.  The “angels” were Jill Dopke, Wendy Kusel, Rita Magnan, Julie Schmutzler, Cindy Schackley, Donna Rodwell. 

 

Members of the choir were: Grace Novotny, Lynda Hossman, Maureen Hady, Patricia Schneider, Kathleen Haznaw, Sharon Quest, Patricia Sweeney, Sandra Mundt, Deborah Nimm, Mary Meyer, Nancy Bohlman, Linda Schaefer, Christine Lessner, Karla Kritz. 

 

Later the children enjoyed a lunch.  Each received a bag of goodies. 

 

The hospital auxiliary was sponsor of the party.
