Wilbert C Strache

1906 - 1981

 

Wilbert C Strache, 75, 710 Western Ave, died at his home Wednesday morning following an apparent heart attack.  Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at St Mark's Lutheran Church with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

Strache was born 12 November 1906 in Ixonia, son of Edward and Bernadina Strache.  On 7 February 1940 he married Erna Kroll at St Stephen's Lutheran Church, Concord.  She preceded him in death 21 August 1976.

 

He was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church, the Wethonkitha Club and Izaak Walton League.  He worked for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul Railroad and for Mid West Building Supply.  Strache was a carpenter by trade.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Carol of Oak Creek, his mother, Watertown, three sisters, Mrs. Paul (Sylvia) Buske of Johnson Creek, Mrs. Erwin (Vilera) Krueger of Watertown, Mrs. Dale (Lenora) Goodnight of Jensen Beach, Florida, one brother Edward of Clyman.  He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Omar.
