Euper - Lawton

(1952)

Miss Gertrude Euper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Euper, Jr., 311 North Water Street, became the bride of James P. Lawton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Lawton, 210 Fremont Street. The ceremony was performed February 23, 1952, in St. Henry's and performed by the Rev. A. J. Herrmann.

Mr. Euper presented his daughter in marriage.

Maid of honor was Miss Mary Jo Euper, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jo Ann Kehr and Jean Richter. Flower girl was Mary Lynn Leichtle, niece of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Maurice Lawton. Other attendants were Peter J. Euper, Jr., brother of the bride, and John Strahota. Ushers were Robert Pagel and Otis Beyer. Ring bearer was Robert Leichtle, nephew of the bride.

A graduate of the Watertown High School, the groom is employed by the Wisconsin Telephone Co. His bride also graduated from the local high school and attended La Crosse state teachers college. She is employed in the office of the Wisconsin Telephone Co.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawton resided at 216 1/2 North Church.
