John Trummer

1927 - 2004

 

John H. Trummer, 76, of Watertown, died March 10, 2004, at Marquardt Memorial Manor.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s Church; the Rev. Bernard Rott officiated.

 

John was born June 3, 1927, in Milwaukee, son of John and Rose (Schrei) Trummer. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

 

On June 2, 1951, John married the former Ina York at St. Rita's Catholic Church in West Allis. He had been employed at Cutler-Hammer in Milwaukee and Watertown for 43 years, and he was a self-employed tax accountant in partnership with Patrick Arpin.

 

John was a member of St. Henry’s, the former Holy Name Society, on the church finance committee and was treasurer for St. Henry Foundation. He was a life member of the National Association of Accountants and a former member of Watertown Elks Lodge No. 666. He was also a former member of the town of Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department.
