Ida Trimborn

1940 - 2004

 

 

Ida M. Trimborn, 70, of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at her home.

 

The former Ida Higgins was born on Jan. 19, 1940, daughter of Michael and Ida (Rickerman) Higgins.  On Dec. 4, 1985, she married Robert Trimborn in Jefferson and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2010.

 

Ida was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She had been a secretary at St. Henry School for 21 years, a waitress at the former Nibble Nook and employed by Wisconsin Telephone Company.  Ida loved to spend time with her family and friends, bird watching and reading.

 

Survivors include her children, Michael (Gloria) McDonald, David (Marie) McDonald, Jill (Rob) Anderson, Theresa McDonald, Patricia McDonald and Tony (Alicia) McDonald; her stepchildren, Bonnie (Al) Gudmundson, Steven Trimborn, Scott (Marci) Trimborn, Kathy (Tim) Unertl and Robert (Jenny) Trimborn Jr.; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Juanita (Duane) Pitterle, Patrick (Connie) Higgins, Muriel (Paul) Talda, Doloris Higgins (Rich Braddee), Mark (Wendy) Higgins, Peter (Veronica) Higgins and Bill (Diane) Higgins; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Higgins; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon McDonald; her parents; a brother, Michael Higgins; and a sister and two brothers in infancy, Mary, Bruce and Brian.

 

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church with Father Brian Wilk officiating.  Family burial will be in St. Henry Catholic Cemetery.  A reception and meal will follow the Mass in St. Henry Parish Center.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Henry School, American Diabetes Association or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, would be appreciated.
