Sherry L. Soto

1956-2003

 

Sherry L. Soto, 46, of 1417 N. Second St., Watertown, died on May 16, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison following a long struggle with cancer.

 

A Mass of Christian burial was be held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

The former Sherry Simmons was born June 30, 1956, in Fort Atkinson, daughter of Colon and Betty (Peterson) Simmons. She married Rudy Soto on May 11, 1974, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sullivan.

 

Sherry attended school in Jefferson and Fort Atkinson. She had been employed at Wis-Pak Inc. in Watertown for eight years and was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church.

 

She and her husband coached numerous women's softball teams.

Brother           Matt (Jill) Simmons of Whitewater
