Ida Seibel

1875 - 1950

 

Mrs. Ida Seibel, 74, widow of Otto Seibel, resident of 214 1/2 North Water Street, died April 14, 1950, at the home of her son, Oscar Seibel, town of Emmet. Her death followed an illness of several months.

 

The funeral took place from the Boyle Funeral Home with services in St. Henry's Church; the Rev. A. H. Foltz officiated.  Interment was in St. Henry's Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Seibel was a member of St. Henry's and the Christian Mothers' Confraternity.

 

She was the former Ida Yahna and was born in the town of Shields on Aug. 12, 1875, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Yahna. Her entire life was spent in this vicinity.

 

She was married to Mr. Seibel in St. Henry's Church on June 25, 1902. Mr. Seibel died in 1923.
