Elizabeth Quest

1926 - 2008

 

 

Elizabeth “Betty” M. Quest, 81, of Watertown, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at Marquardt Memorial Manor.

 

Betty was born on Sept. 11, 1926, in Hartford, daughter of Sylvester and Marcella (Roark) Thoma.  She married Robert L. Quest July 30, 1945, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Richwood.

 

Betty was a nurse's aide, working at St. Mary's Hospital in Watertown and Marquardt Memorial Manor.  She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Watertown.

 

Survivors include three sons, Robert (Sharon) Quest of Clyman, Lawrence (Barb) Quest of Juneau and Scott (Carol) Quest of Watertown; 10 grandchildren, John (Rachael), Paul (Robin), Melissa, Chad, Craig (Misty), Tricia (Paul), Becky (Tim), Veronica, Adam and Noah; nine great-grandchildren, Cody, Hailey, Nick, Caleb, Payton, Allen, Jordan, Lydia and Ethan; two sisters, Florence Riedl of Waterloo and Marian (Roman) Kreuziger of Fond du Lac; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert on Dec. 16, 2003; a sister, Helen; and a brother, Joseph in infancy.

 

The family would appreciate memorials to St. Henry Catholic Church, Marquardt Memorial Manor of the charity of one's choice.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown with the Rev. Brian Wilk officiating.

 

Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

 

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

 

The Pederson Funeral Home of Watertown is serving the family.
