Mark B. Potts

1912 - 2004

 

Mark B. Potts, 92, of New Berlin and formerly of Jefferson, died November 26, 2004, at his home.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s Church with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service served the family.

 

Mark was born October 18, 1912, in Belmond, Iowa, son of George W. and Madeline (Madell) Potts. On September 14, 1940, he married the former Elsie A. Hain in Cornell. Mark retired in 1977 after 25 years of service with the former Kearney & Trecker Corp., where he was the lead man in the special machine products division.

 

He had been a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson.
