Mrs. Norbert Pitterle

1904 - 1970

 

Mrs. Norbert Pitterle, 66, of 701 West Main Street, passed November 25, 1970, at the Watertown Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

 

Funeral services were held from the Schmutzler Funeral Home and St. Henry's Church, with Msgr. Anthony J. Herrmann officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

 

The Christian Mothers Altar Confraternity rosary was recited at the funeral home, as was the parish rosary.

 

The former Marie L. Yahna was born in Watertown March 23, 1904, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emil Yahna. On Nov. 3, 1926, she married Norbert Pitterle at St. Henry's. She was a lifelong Watertown resident.

 

She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, a 50 year member of the Catholic Knights of Columbus, and past president of the Christian Mothers Altar Confraternity.
