Genevieve L. Patterson

 

1937- 2018

 

Genevieve L. Patterson, 80, of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.

 

Genevieve was born on Sept. 29, 1937, in Wabeno, the daughter of Edmund and Marian (Schmidt) Wolfgram.  She married the love of her life, Roger, on Aug. 8, 1959, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee.  Genevieve worked as a certified nursing aide at Watertown Hospital and Shorehaven nursing home for over 30 years.  She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the Jung group and Dream group.  Genevieve was an avid reader and enjoyed crafting and dancing.  She was an active and involved mother and above all, she loved spending time with the family.

 

Survivors include daughters Val (Dwight) Harrington of Footville, Vicki Patterson of Watertown and Tracy (Rick) Rusch of Watertown; grandchildren Dana, Kay (Tom), Casie, Sarah, Sara, Jacob and Bailey; great-grandchildren Taylor, Brenan, Logan, Mia, Daniel, Isabelle, Declan and Teagan; great-great-grandchildren Isabella and Olivia; sisters Barbara Mathis and Edna (Gary) Lachmund; brother John (Chris) Wolfgram. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Russell, sister Mary and mother-in-law Esther Patterson.

 

Memorials in Genevieve’s honor may be made to St. Henry Catholic Church.  The family would like to thank the staff of Clearview for all their care and compassion with Genevieve.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Henry Catholic Church with the Father Miroslaw Szynal presiding.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
