Janet L. Meyer nee Koshelnick

1944 - 2010

 

 

Janet L. Meyer, 66, of Watertown, passed away Friday morning, July 30, 2010, at Marquardt Memorial Manor in Watertown.

 

A memorial service will be held at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m., with Father Brian Wilk of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown officiating.  Burial will be at St. Henry Catholic Cemetery.

 

Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.  Memorials may be directed to Marquardt Hospice.

 

Janet Lynn Koshelnick was born in Watertown on March 12, 1944, daughter of Charles and Florence (Miller) Koshelnick.

 

She graduated from Watertown High School in 1962 and had been employed at UW School of Medicine and Public Health as an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Surgery.  Janet enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, walking, reading, jewelry shopping, interior decorating and cooking.

 

Janet is survived by two children, her son, Patrick (Cynthia) Meyer of Virginia and her daughter, Kristin Meyer of Ashippun; four grandchildren, Allysa Meyer, Alex Whitehead, Jordan Meyer, James Meyer; three sisters, Patricia (Kenneth) Bachler of Watertown, Mary Ellen (Scott) McIntosh of Waupaca, Susan (John) Meyers of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two nieces, Kay Keeser and Cam Schwoegler.

 

The family would like to thank Marquardt Memorial Manor and Marquardt Hospice for their loving care for their mother and sister.
