Mary Meitner

1870 - 1948

 

Mrs. Mary Meitner, 311 Arcade Avenue, died March 20, 1948 and services were held in St. Henry's Church, with the Rev. A. E. Foltz officiating.  Interment was in St. Henry's Cemetery.

 

Members of the Christian Mothers confraternity assembled for the traditional prayer period.

 

Mrs. Meitner was the former Mary Winkler. She was born in the town of Emmet on March 25, 1870, living in this community all her life. She was married to Ernest Meitner in Clyman on Nov. 15, 1887. He preceded her in death.

 

Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Mary Schwartz, Oconomowoc; Mrs. William Jennings, Evanston, Ill.; Mrs. Edward Watterson, Oconomowoc; Mrs. Erwin West and Lawrence and Joseph Meitner, Watertown. There are two sisters, Mrs. Molly Moldenhauer, and Mrs. Edward Schroedl, both of Jefferson.
