Edward Manke

1977 - 2004

 

Edward B. Manke, 27, of Watertown, died on Sunday August 1, 2004, at his home in Watertown.

 

A memorial Mass was held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial was at St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery.

 

Edward was born on January 31, 1977, son of the late Edward J. Manke and Viola E. (Kreuser) Manke. He graduated from Madison Area Technical College-Watertown in 1995. He had been employed as lead machinist at Custom Production Grinding Inc. in Menomonee Falls.

 

He was a member of St. Henry’s, Ducks Unlimited, and the Juneau Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed camping in the Nicolet Forest with friends from the Fox Valley area. He spent many weekends mountain biking with his sister and brother and many weekends fishing with his nephew, Coty.

 

Edward's family and friends were the most important things in his life. His smile will be remembered by many as the sunshine he brought into their day.

 

His faithful companions were his dogs, Coco and Casey, and his cat Tuffy.
