Josephine Schuch Krueger

1905 - 2004

 

 

Josephine E. Krueger, 98, of Watertown, passed away May 6, 2004, at Marquardt Memorial Manor. Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

The former Josephine E. Schuch was born Oct. 15, 1905, in Watertown, the daughter of John and Catherine (Roets) Schuch. On Feb. 2, 1929, she married Edgar Krueger in Watertown. He preceded her in death in June of 1954.

 

She had been employed at the former J. C. Penney Store in Watertown for 28 years. She was a member of St. Henry’s Church, Catholic Women's Club and a longtime member of the 500 Club.

 

Josephine enjoyed playing sheepshead, 500 and gardening.
