A sunny Friday, March 19, 1976, a day on which the temp rose to the 70s in Watertown was the occasion of a 2 p.m. grinding crash between an auto and a truck at the NE city limits left five Watertown Senior High students dead.  Two of the victims were members of St. Henry’s.

 

Joint funeral services for Miss Keeser and Miss McDonald were held at St. Henry's Church, with Father Michael Burke officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

Miss Keeser was born in Watertown on April 16, 1958.

Miss McDonald was born in Watertown May 1, 1958, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Gale) McDonald. She was a senior at Watertown Senior High School and was a member of St. Henry's.
