Dale J. Kaczor

1947 - 2001

 

Dale J. Kaczor, 54, of 223 Emerald St., Watertown, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at the V.A. Medical Center in Milwaukee.

 

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Hafemeister Funeral Home of Watertown with the Rev. Bernard Rott of St. Henry’s Catholic Church officiating.

 

Burial was in St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by VFW Post #7852.

 

Mr. Kaczor was born Match 22, 1947, in Watertown, the son of Werner and Evelyn (Brennecke) Kaczor. He married LaVerne Ruth Achten on July 12, 1969, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Watertown. He was a 1965 graduate of Watertown High School and was employed as a welder at APV Crepaco in Lake Mills until it closed on March 31, 2000.

 

He entered the U.S. Army in November 1965 until February 1970 and served in the Vietnam War from February 1966 to January 1967.

 

He was a member of the United Steal Workers Union, VFW Post #7852 and St. Henry's.

 

He is survived by his parents of Watertown; two sons, Troy (Jenny) of Florida and Curt of Sturgeon Bay; one daughter, Julie (Trevor) Jacob of Oakfield; two brothers, Randy (Susan) of Juneau and Eugene (Cathy) of Watertown; four grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 27, 1999.
