Eleanor R. Heller

 

1927- 2018

 

Eleanor R. Heller, 90, of Watertown, died suddenly on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at UW Hospital in Madison.

 

Eleanor was born on Feb. 16, 1927, in Watertown, daughter of Thomas J. Hady Sr. and Theresa R. (Baer) Hady. On July 19, 1952, she married Leroy F. Heller in St. Henry’s Rectory. They were married for 52 years before Leroy preceded her in death in 2004. Eleanor was a homemaker whose hobbies included bird watching, gardening, bowling and watching British murder mysteries. Survivors include daughters Kathleen M. Heller of Watertown and Patricia R. (John) Juderjahn of Davie, Florida; a brother, Thomas Hady Jr. of Fort Atkinson; granddaughter, Crystal L. (Chris Martin) Juderjahn of Watertown; great-grandsons, Riley and Alex Martin of Watertown; other relatives and friends.

 

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy F. Heller; her parents; a sister, Mary Klekowski of Milwaukee; a brother, Joseph Hady of Watertown; and nephew Leon Klekowski of Milwaukee.

 

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Watertown. A service will follow at 7 p.m. with Father Miroslaw Szynal officiating. A private burial will be held at St. Henry’s Cemetery.

 

The family would like to thank all the staff at Watertown Regional Medical Center and UW Hospital in Madison for their kind and compassionate care they gave to Eleanor during her stay with them.
