Myrt M. Hady

1935 - 2010

 

 

Myrt M. Hady, 75, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at home surrounded by her family.

 

Myrt was born on May 28, 1935, in Portage, daughter of Clyde and Sarah (Simms) Pratt.  She was a graduate of Watertown High School, MATC with a degree in bookkeeping and was also a certified nail technician.  She married John Hady on Nov. 7, 1953, at St. Henry Catholic Church.  She and her husband owned and operated Hady Electric and Ladies and Gents Salon.  She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.

 

Myrt was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.

 

Survivors include her husband, John Hady of Watertown; her children, Mark (Louise) Hady of Watertown, Clyde (Debra) Hady of Brooksville, Fla., Kristine (Karl) Saucedo of Watertown, Craig (Susan) Hady of Horicon, Art Hady of Watertown, Pamela (Jeffery) Stern of Sun Prairie, Bruce (Monica) Hady of Watertown and Valerie (Scott) Lange of Watertown; 25 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kate Wiersma of Pardeeville and Betty (Harry) Mitchell of Gainesville, Va.; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carmen Lynn Hady; two brothers, Walter and Arthur; and a sister, Violet.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry Catholic Church with Father Brian Wilk officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
