Margaret E. Haase

1913 - 2010

 

FOND DU LAC — Margaret E. Haase, formerly of 934 Wisconsin Ave., North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Walnut Grove in Fond du Lac.

 

She was born on Dec. 9, 1913, in Clyman, daughter of John and Martha (Indra) Langer.  On Nov. 20, 1934, she married Edgar G. Haase at St. John the Baptist Church in Clyman.  Mrs. Haase was employed with Sears Roebuck and Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1977.

 

Survivors include two sons, James E. and wife, Diane, of Fairfield Bay, Ark., and Edward J. and wife, Mary, of Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

 

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, on June 22, 1988; her son, John on Nov. 1, 1996; one daughter-in-law, Ethel on Sept. 8, 2004; and one brother, Cyrus Langer.

 

Visitation is planned Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 705 Michigan Ave., North Fond du Lac.

 

A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish with the Rev. John Simon officiating.  Burial will take place on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. in St. Henry Catholic Cemetery in Watertown.
