Dorothy Bohmsock

1914 - 2007

 

 

Dorothy Bohmsack, 92, of Watertown, died March 3, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Watertown.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Father Thomas Marr of St. Bernard's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be on Friday in St. Henry Catholic Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be directed to the church or the charity of one's choice.

 

Dorothy was born on May 17, 1914, in Watertown, daughter of Hobert and Margaret (Franks) Hrobsky. On Oct. 21, 1934, she married Clifford Bohmsack in Chicago.

 

Dorothy was employed at the former Mid-State Shoe Factory in Watertown for many years. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.  She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, doing puzzles, fishing, and spending time with her kids and grand kids.

 

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Joyce Seavert, and son, Randy  (Rose) Bohmsack, both of Watertown; five grandchildren, Cindy  (Dennis) Bingham, James Seavert, Karen (Ronald) Leach, Jon (Stacy) Bohmsack, and Jodi (Peter) Schwefel; nine great- grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene Buske and Kate (Arnold) Schumann, both of Watertown.

 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifford on Aug. 31, 1994; one son, Lawrence Bohmsack; one son-in-law, Roger Seavert; a sister, Evelyn Rood; and a brother, Harvey Hrobsky.
