Phyllis Zabel

1932 - 2005

 

Phyllis A. Zabel, 72, of Watertown, died May 1, 2005, at Watertown Memorial Hospital.

 

A family graveside service will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Kathleen Kasper, pastor of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.

 

The Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family.

 

The former Phyllis Millhouse was born July 8, 1932, in Wausau, the daughter of Richard and Mildred (Olsen) Millhouse. She married Robert "Dutch" Schmitt and he preceded her in death.

 

Phyllis was the owner of the former Phyl's 403 Tap that was located on Main Street.

 

Survivors include her children, Robert (fiancee Heidi Avello) Schmitt and Barbara (Dale) Winkelman, both of Watertown; her grandchildren, Chris (Jenny) Winkelman and Briana Winkelman; her great-grand- children, Alex, Cole and Avery Winkelman; a brother, Kenneth Millhouse of Illinois.

 

She was further preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Millhouse.
