Mrs. John E. Winkenwerder,
formerly of Watertown, and sister-in-law of Henry Winkenwerder
of this city, died on February 28, 1914, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
August Seehawer in Syracuse, N. Y. She was 79 years of age and is survived by
eight children. Her husband died, about
a year ago. Monday evening her remains
were brought to this city and placed in the undertaking rooms of Schmutzler and Oestreieh, from
where the funeral was held Wednesday morning to the German M. E. church. The interment was in Oak Hill
cemetery.
