Kenneth E. Williams Jr.

1950 - 2009

 

Kenneth E. Williams Jr., 59, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009.

 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with the Rev. Lee Meissner of Christ United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

 

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

 

Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the family.

 

Kenneth was born on May 23, 1950, in Sparta, son of Kenneth and Bertha (Hove) Williams Sr.  On July 2, 1977, he married Patricia Reed at Watertown Moravian Church.  Ken served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He had been employed at Speedway in Watertown.  Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing and model building.

 

Kenneth is survived by Patricia Reed of Watertown; five children, Chauntel Williams, Nancy Williams of Adams-Friendship, Kenneth Williams III of Watertown, Jennifer Williams of Rock Island, Ill., and Dylan Williams of Watertown; and five grandchildren.

 

Ken was the last member of his immediate family, being preceded in death by his parents and a sister in infancy.
