Drew Straw of the firm
of Straw and Murphy, died of bronchial troubles on
Deceased was born in
Waterbury, Vermont, September 19, 1824 and came to Watertown in 1847 from Ohio,
being engaged in business here ever since. His wife and one son survive him.
On Wednesday afternoon
his funeral was very largely attended. It was taken charge of by the Masons,
Mr. Straw being a Royal Arch Mason.
His remains sleep in Oak Hill Cemetery.
