Camilla Pizzala

 

Camilla (Kaiser) Pizzala, 89, of Watertown, died December 8, 2004, at Beverly Terrace Nursing Home in Watertown. Funeral services were held at the Pederson Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Tabor of Rock River Assembly of God Church in Jefferson officiating.

 

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

The former Camilla Welch was born November 24, 1915, in the town of Newton, daughter of Alvin and Margaret (Cassidy) Welch. She married Harold Pizzala in Manistique, Mich.

 

She had been employed as a cook at Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown for 10 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Watertown Assembly of God Church.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Kaiser of Beaver Dam and Marlene (Lester) Schlesner of Watertown; three sons, Archie (Nina) Welch of Hesparia, Mich., Basil (Barbara) Pizzala of Manistique and Ronald (Vickie) Pizzala of Treasure Island, Fla.; 30 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren;, six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Genevieve Russell of Michigan; a brother, Albert Welch of Michigan; a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Arlene; three great-grandchildren; her parents; and a sister.
