Anita H. Miller

1923 - 2008

 

Anita H. Miller, 85, of Watertown, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at Golden Living Center.

 

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Revs. Anthony Schultz and Mark Gartner officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be appreciated.

 

The Hafemeister Funeral Home is serving the family.

 

Anita Helen Duchrow was born on Nov. 29, 1923, daughter of Leo and Lena (Hohensee) Duchrow in Antigo.  On June 25, 1955, she married Louis Miller at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Anita had enjoyed polka dancing. She also enjoyed cooking and traveling with her husband. Anita loved spending time with her family.

 

Anita is survived by her husband, Louis; two daughters, Lisa (Charles) Pace of Waukesha and Erin (Timothy) Jacyna of Watertown; one son, Todd (Jacqueline) Miller of Eagle; three brothers, Robert Duchrow of Rhinelander, Marvin Duchrow of Phlox and Ronald (Gayle) Duchrow of Antigo; four grandchildren, Steven (Crystal) Pace, Chris Pace, Samantha Jacyna and Maxwell Jacyna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Anita was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Norman and Arnold Duchrow.
