Luther Mickow Sr

1955 - 2007

 

Luther W. Mickow, 51, of Watertown, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at his home.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Rev. David Groth officiating.

 

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

 

Friends may call to pay their respects at the Pederson Funeral Home in Watertown on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

 

Memorials are suggested to the family.

 

Luther was born Sept. 9, 1955, in Roseau, Minn., son of Vernon and Grace (Mueller) Mickow. He married the former Stephanie Brunkhorst on Oct. 30, 1979, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He had been employed as a millwright for Kraft Pizza Company in Sussex for 14 years.

 

Luther loved his family very much, and enjoyed boating and fishing.

 

Surviving are his wife, Stephanie Mickow of Watertown; four sons, Luther Mickow of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jason Mickow of Watertown, Cody Mickow of Watertown and Zachariah Mickow of Watertown; his parents, the Rev. Vernon and Grace Mickow of Waukesha; two grandchildren, Haylie and Kamren; two sisters, Lucy (Darrell) Douglas of St. Charles, Iowa, and Laurie (Larry) Bartels of Petoskey, Mich.; a brother, Dan Mickow of Waukesha; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
