John Albert Mentink

1868 - 1891

 

John Albert Mentink, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Mentink of Watertown, died of consumption at his parents' home in the 1st Ward on February 8th, 1891, in the 23d year of his age.

 

His wife and one child, a daughter one year and a half old, survived him.

 

For a number of years deceased was employed as a. printer on the Madison State Journal. He was in poor health for a year previous to his death. His remains were buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
