Marion Mallach

1940 - 1946

Marion Jane Mallach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mallach, 302 South Ninth Street, died on a Sunday morning, December 1, 1946, at the family home, following an illness of four months. The child, one of twin sisters, had been a patient at hospitals both in Watertown and Milwaukee and was later removed to her home.

The child was born at St. Mary's Hospital of Watertown on Oct. 1, 1940 and with her twin sister, Margaret Ann, was the only member of a set of twins who became members of the local Baby-of-the Month club.

Besides the parents, there is the twin sister and a brother, Robert. The paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Mallach, also survive. The child's mother was formerly Miss. Ethel Amadon.

Marion last year attended the Webster School kindergarten, but had been unable to continue school this year due to illness.

The funeral was held from the Schmutzler Funeral Home, with services in St. Paul's Episcopal Church.  Rev. William F. Chamberlain officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
