Mrs F W Lehmann

(Frederick)  (Ida Lena)

1869 - 1906

The people of Watertown were pained to learn on Sunday that Mrs. F. W. Lehmann had died early that morning at her home, 402 Second Street.  Mrs. Lehmann had been in poor health for some time, and a few days previous to her death was operated on, hoping thereby to save her life, but all to no purpose.

Mrs. Lehmann was a great favorite in Watertown, for she possessed an amiable, genial and sympathetic disposition, and was much esteemed by a large circle of friends, all of whom are greatly grieved by her death.

She was born in Beaver Dam, April 1, 1869, her maiden name being Ida Lena Hanf.  August 28, 1889, she was married to Mr. Lehmann, who survives her and one daughter and two sons, the oldest being twelve years of age and the youngest three years, to whom the sincere sympathy of our people is extended.

Tuesday afternoon her funeral was held from her late home, Rev. J. Klingman of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating.  Her remains were interred in Oak Hill cemetery.
