Oak Hill Cemetery tombstone inscription: Herold, William, b. Mar 26, 1856, d. Jan 1, 1909

William Herold, rural route 6, died last evening. He was 62 years of age (*)and is survived by his wife and eight children. Monday his funeral was held from his late home, Rev. H. C. Rehm of this city conducting the services. His remains were interred in Oak Hill Cemetery.

(*) Age does not match birth and death dates transcribed from tombstone. Year 1909 is known; should birth be 1866?
