Mrs. Elizabeth Heismann,
widow of the late Herman Heismann, died last Sunday
evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Schmutzler,
North Church Street.
Deceased was 82 years of age. She was born February 24, 1832, in Nederamstad, Hessendarmstad,
Germany, and has lived in Watertown over 60 years.
Four sons and one daughter survive her,
being Mrs. Louis Schmutzler, John E. and Chas.
Heisman of this city, Edward Heismann of Milwaukee,
and Frank Heismann of Chicago. She is
also survived by a sister, Mrs. H. Heppenheimer of
New York City.
Wednesday afternoon her funeral was
held from the German M. E. church and the interment was in Oak Hill
Cemetery.
