Wendy S. Heiman

1971 - 2007

 

Wendy S. Heiman, 36, of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Watertown Memorial Hospital following a snowmobile accident.

 

Wendy was born on March 3, 1971, in Oconomowoc, daughter of Leslie and Janice (Winchell) Heiman. She was a 1989 graduate of Watertown High School. She had been employed by CL&D, Northstar, Quad Graphics and most recently, at Hamlin Corp. in Lake Mills. She enjoyed camping and snowmobiling.

 

Wendy enjoyed being with the love of her life, Gerard; her close cousins, Tricia Haines and Tracey Nimm; and her dog, JoJo.

 

Survivors include her parents, Les and Jan Heiman of Watertown; maternal grandmother, Nena Winchell of Watertown; paternal grandmother, Evelyn (Hubert) Bergmann of Watertown; her sister, Jody (Robert) Peterson of Watertown; two nieces that she loved dearly, Abbigail and Stephanie Peterson; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gerard DeBaets; grandfathers, Delos Winchell and Gerald Heiman Sr.; an uncle, David Winchell; and a cousin, Jeff St. John II.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Deborah Howland officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service and on Thursday after 10 a.m. at the church.

 

Memorials to the Love Fund at First Congregational Church or Watertown Humane Society would be appreciated.
