Florence L. Goede

1913 - 2005

Florence L. Goede, 91, of Watertown, died February 20, 2005, at Watertown Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Bernard Rott of St. Henry’s Church. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

The former Florence Edwards was born July 27, 1913, in Milwaukee, daughter of Edward and Lucille (Mack) Edwards. She married Harvey A. Goede on Oct. 28, 1933, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Florence and her husband farmed in the town of Watertown. She had also been employed at Hevi-Duty Electric in Watertown.

Surviving were a son, Allan of Watertown, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey on June 5, 1994; her parents; and a brother, Arthur Mack.
