Myrtle C. Copsey

1919 - 2006

 

Myrtle C. Copsey, 87, of Jefferson, formerly of Watertown, died December 1, 2006 at Countryside Home in Jefferson.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with the Rev. David Keesey-Berg of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.

 

She was born January 17, 1919, in Rome, the daughter of Raymond and Alma (Reinel) Streich. She married Clarence Copsey on December 14, 1968, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown.

 

Survivors include a half sister, Evelyn Streich of Jefferson, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence on June 4, 1972, a sister, Audrey Laschinsky and a brother, Harley Streich.
