Clara Baurichter

1917 - 2008

 

Clara I. Baurichter, 91, of Watertown, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at the Watertown Regional Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Karl Walther officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

 

Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

 

Memorials, in Clara's name, may be directed to the church.

 

The former Clara I. Kramer was born in Lowell on Feb. 28, 1917, daughter of Frederick and Emma (Neitzel) Kramer.  On Sept. 13, 1942, she married Edwin W. Baurichter at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown.  Edwin preceded her in death on June 14, 1976.

 

Clara was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown.

 

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Edna Kramer of Beaver Dam; special neighbors, Vernon and Barb Gerber; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 

Clara was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frederick “Fritz” Kramer and Ervin Kramer; and three sisters, Estella Kasten, Lillian Schaller and Marcella Kramer, in her childhood.
