Helen Buchert Anderson

1911 - 2002

 

Helen F. Buchert Anderson of Waukesha, born on February 3, 1911 in Jennings, WI, the daughter of Henry and Valeria (nee Stroinski) Foelker, died January 14, 2002 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 90 years.

 

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Helen worked as a grandparent at Bethesda in Watertown and the Wales School for Boys for many years and volunteered at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for 6 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Erwin, her second husband, Andy, her daughter Joan Wilke, 7 sisters and 4 brothers.

 

She will be sadly missed by her sons; Dr. Edwin (Beverly) Buchert of Grove City, Penn, Kay (Nancy) Buchert of Beloit and Charles (Mary) Buchert of Slinger, her son-in-law, Donald Wilke of Waukesha, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services were January 17, 2002 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Oelhafen officiated.  Interment was in the Oak Hill cemetery, Watertown. Memorials were to the Trinity Lutheran Church School or Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown.
