Henry Albrecht

1884 - 1974

Henry Albrecht, 89, 602 Division Street, passed away early this morning at the Watertown Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Watertown Moravian Church with Rev. Rudolph Schulze officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.  

 

Friends and relatives may call to pay their respects at the Pederson Funeral Home Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and until 11 a.m. Friday when the body will be taken to lie in state at the church until the time of services.

 

Albrecht was born Oct. 15 1884 in the town of Milford, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Albrecht.  On Sept. 13 1916, he married the former Anna Fink at Lake Auburn Minn.  He was a retired farmer having farmed in the town of Watertown and lived in Watertown since 1952.

 

Albrecht was a member of the Watertown Moravian Church, a former elder of the church and a member of the Men’s Bible Class.

 

Survivors include his wife one son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Clarence (Dorothy) Albrecht of Phoenix, Ariz., a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Mae) Wilkes of Watertown, and six grand-children.

 

He was the last member of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
