Edgar (Ed) Wurtz, 300 South Warren Street, is the new owner and operator of the former Brunke Paint and Glass Company at 117 Main Street. The business, which will be known as the Wurtz Paint and Floor Covering Store, will specialize in wallpapers, paints, floor covering and glass. Prior to taking over the new business, Mr. Wurtz was manager at the Badger Paint Store. He is also former manager of the Ace Store here and was employed as department manager in Madison's Sears Store. He was also associated in the hardware business with his father, O. E. Wurtz at Jefferson.
