Dorothy Kraemer

1921-2012

 

Dorothy M. Kraemer, 90, of Oconomowoc, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012, at Lake Country Health and Rehab in Oconomowoc.

 

Dorothy was born on Nov. 14, 1921, in Watertown, the daughter of Carl and Leona (Schuett) Kuckkan. She was a graduate of Watertown High School. She married William Kraemer on March 22, 1945, in Watertown. Dorothy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Watertown where she had been active in WELCA. She volunteered at the Octagon House and had been a member of the Watertown Historical Society and the Euterpe Club.

 

Survivors include son Alan (Christine) Kraemer of Dousman; two daughters, Nancy (Robert) Hutson of Carefree, Ariz., and Kathleen (Bruce) Davis of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Andy, Danielle, Morgan, Mea and Angela; four great-grandchildren; also survived by other relatives and friends.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Clarence.

 

Memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

 

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Terry Larson and the Rev. Tom Kent officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at 9a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery Watertown.
