Knollenberg Hired by WFD

Keith Knollenberg has been hired by the Watertown Fire Department as a full-time fire- fighter/paramedic. 

 

He replaces firefighter Tom Egan who resigned in September. 

 

Knollenberg graduated from Hamilton High School in Sussex and took several fire and EMS courses at Waukesha County Technical College. He received his paramedic license in September 2006.

 

He was a paid-on-call firefighter with the Watertown department for two years and worked at a private ambulance service prior to being offered the full-time position.

 

Knollenberg, 36, lives in Watertown with his wife and their 3-year-old daughter.
