Joan C. Flint

1938-2012

 

Joan C. Flint, 74, of Watertown, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.

 

Joan was born on Jan. 30, 1938, in Janesville, the daughter of Halley and Jessie (Daley) Elliott.  Joan was a graduate of Milton High School.  She married George Flint on May 4, 1963, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Watertown.  She was employed at St. Joseph’s Assisted Living as a nursing aide until her retirement.

 

Survivors include, husband, George Flint of Watertown; son, Paul Flint of Madison; daughter, Laura Flint of Madison and son, John Flint of Fort Atkinson; four grandchildren, Andy (Toni) Flint of Watertown, Aaron Flint of Lake Mills, Mitch Flint of Menomonee Falls and Josh Flint of Menomonee Falls.  She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Max; and her sister, Vivian.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, at Pederson Funeral Home Watertown with Msgr. Daniel Ganshert presiding.  Visitation will be at 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Rite of committal will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Watertown following the service.  Memorials to Clearview Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
