Joseph Butscher, a pioneer resident of Watertown, died on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1908. Deceased as born on January 11, 1826, and in 1849 came to America. In 1855 he located to this city and for a time engaged in the furniture business and afterwards conducted a dry goods and clothing store in Main Street. His wife and four children survive him, being Albert and Theodore of Boyd, and Joseph of Minneapolis, Mary of this city. Saturday morning at 9 o’clock his funeral will take place from St. Henry’s Church.
