A pleasant matrimonial event took place at 8 o’clock on Tuesday morning, October 17, 1911, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, when Frank Novotny of this city and Miss Emily Hrobsky, who resides just east of the city, were united in marriage by Rev. Father Lichtenecker in the presence of a large number of friends. Charles Novotny, brother of the groom, and Miss Theresa Flint officiated as groomsman and bridesmaid. The bride was handsomely attired in white and carried bride roses. The bridesmaid was attired in pink silk and carried pink roses. After the church services a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Anton Hrobsky and wife, a large number of relatives and friends participating.
The groom is a member of the Watertown Machine and Brush Co., West Main Street, and is one of Watertown’s most esteemed young men. His bride is also popular with a large acquaintance and is a most excellent young lady. The Gazette joins their many friends in extending congratulations.
