Angela Miller

1916 - 2006

 

 

Angela M. "Dolly" Miller 90, formerly of Watertown, passed away November 15, 2006, at Karmenta Care Center in Madison.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at St. Henry Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in St. Henry Cemetery.

 

Family and friends may call to pay their respect on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family.

 

The former Angela M. Quinn was born on June 7, 1916, in Richwood, the daughter of William and Bridget (Donegan) Quinn. She married William R. Miller on November 27, 1941, in Richwood. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1981. She had farmed with her husband in the town of Emmet for many years.

 

Dolly lovingly raised her family on the farm making sure everyone was showered with love and affection. During her life she continued to be surrounded by family and friends whom she taught life lessons of love, laughter, caring, determination and forgiveness. She is now peacefully joining her family and friends in heaven. We love and thank you dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

 

Angela was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers and Altar Confraternity.

 

Survivors include three daughters, Joyce (Michael) Orvis of Australia, Helen (Wayne) Fitzgerald of Watertown and Angela (Brian) Roberts of Arlington; a son, Robert Miller of Watertown; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Beaver; other relatives and friends.

 

She is further preceded in death by her three grandchildren; parents; a sister Veronica Carney; and a brother, Michael Quinn.
