First Communion At St. Henry's

Group of 53 Children to Take Part in Ceremony

On Sunday, April 20, 53 children of St. Henry's congregation will receive Holy Communion for the first time.

The ceremony will begin with a procession from the school to the church led by the mass servers. After assembling in church the children will publicly renew their baptismal vows.

Holy Mass will then be celebrated by the pastor, the Very Rev. Anthony J. Herrmann, during which the children will receive the Holy Eucharist. Following the Mass Father Herrmann will deliver the sermon.
